Specific Responsibilities: - Design and document assigned project components based on the specified architecture and in compliance with the defined development process and follow the company process and standard
- Ensure the quality while the development progresses and in the final delivery
- Work closely with the project teammates (especially UI designer) and other departments to fulfill the user's expectation and ensure the smooth integration between portal and application
- Spend effort of corrections of errors and their verification of the integration and system testing in the unique component
- Work with users to discuss on the issues faced and resolve them Needed Qualifications: - Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- 5+ years of hands on experience in Portal development and design
- Strong skills and proven industry experience and ability on
Web Service development
Jave EE related technologies (such as EJB3, JSF, JPA etc)
DHTML, XML, JavaScript (prototype.js, jquery), and CSS, or Flash
- Ability to work with software engineers to de-bug HTLM/CSS code
- Knowledge in portal products (e.g. weblogic, websphere, liferay)
- Knowledge in open source framworks, include but not limited to Spring, Hibernate, etc
- Demonstrated knowledge in software development methodologies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills while working in a multidisciplinary, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Science, and related fields
- Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese Preferred Qualifications: - Maven is preferred |
